Located on Florida's Suncoast, Don Pedro-Palm Island is a private residential island that offers seven miles of pristine, secluded gulf beaches and some of the finest swimming, boating, shelling and fishing to be found on the Gulf of Mexico.

Our island is much like Florida's southwest coast 25 years ago, with no crowds, high rises or traffic.

Knight Island (the most northern island bordered to the north by Stump Pass), Don Pedro island (the middle island), and Little Gasparilla island, the most southern island, were originally three separate islands, divided by passes. When the pass between Knight Island and Don Pedro, and the pass between Don Pedro and Little Gasparilla Island closed in (sometime in the 1960s) the islands became one, with more than seven miles of beach.

In the middle of the island lies the Don Pedro Island State Park which is approximately 135 acres of natural, pristine land. You can access the state park by boat or a beach walk. There are bathroom facilities in the park area.

Grocery shopping is within a mile of the Island Ferry access (there are no stores on the Island). Other larger and discount stores are located within a five mile radius. Several restaurants and lounges are also within a few minutes trip, or try Rum Bay Restaurant located on the island. Our area boasts a choice of golf courses which are easily accessible on the mainland. Information on fishing trips, boat rentals, golf cart rentals, and other “things to do” and “places to see” are available upon request.

Dress is casual! Don’t forget the suntan lotion! Groceries, supplies, and paper products that your family will use is all that is needed. Please bring beach towels and charcoal, if desired. Remember that this is a no smoking home and pets are not allowed.
